Dorje Tsebe (Tsepel), a famous Tibetan singer, was arrested after protests in Ba county on 18 March.
Media sources quote a Tibetan local, “Few of the injured have been admitted in hospitals but many of the seriously injured have not received any medical treatment.”
Sources also note that several “unfamiliar” Chinese soldiers have been deployed in this region.
“Chinese security forces are using videos images shot during the protests to arrests Tibetans,” sources said. “Midnight raids and arrests have become common in recent days.”
